Nadia + Victor
For this al fresco, UBC Botanical Garden wedding, we curated a floral palette of vibrant, creamsicle tones that are so abundant in the summer time of year to reflect the couple’s fun, free-spirit personalities and their adventurous, wanderlust lifestyle.
Nadia & Victor got engaged in Italy and the couple fell in love with the Amalfi coast and the Italian culture: family style dinners that last all night, the drinks, the olives and the hospitality. It was their dream to create an Italy alfresco dining experience for all of their guests. We decided to create a family style dinner layout with a formal twist under a lush, vine-covered arbor at the UBC Botanical Garden. Long rows of lush, overgrown centerpiece were created to showcase the season’s best in an organic, timeless way drawing one’s eye down the long oak harvest table. The ceremony arch was lushed with the bride’s favorite Free Spirit Garden Roses complimented by vibrant summer seasonal floral and wild passion vines. The bridal bouquet was wild, unstructured and refined all at once created with lush blooms and trailing vines. A whimsical UBC Botanical Garden wedding captured by Fern Shin Fine Art Photography.
